VEC has a balanced approach towards training. Essential training whether technical or soft skill, is provided before start / change of work or on-the-job. Recommended training is provided to motivate personnel and prepare them for potential future tasks, assignments and roles. Training is so structured that it can be implemented in regular work immediately. The effectiveness of training is carefully evaluated. “Lessons Learnt” sessions are also conducted periodically whereby continual improvement is ensured. When appropriate, VEC deputes its personnel to attend external training programs and seminars to provide them the exposure to emerging technologies and latest developments.



Health Care:  Medical insurance coverage for regular employees including spouse and 2 children, with provision to include parents by co-payment. From April 2015, facility extended with co-payment to time-bound contract employees.

Group Personal Accident Policy: Regular employees and time-bound contract employees are covered under group personal accident policy all year round, anywhere in India.

Overseas Mediclaim:  Personnel who travel abroad on official trips are covered by Traveller’s overseas medical insurance policy for respective duration and destination(s).

Flexibility:  The working timings start flexibly between 08:30 and 09:30 hrs and end flexibly between 17:00 and 18:00 hrs respectively.
